Splash Screen

So the current splash screen that you see at the beginning of RW isn't doing it for me. I want to create a splash screen out of one of the many screenshots I have taken. Does anyone know how to do this?

Also, what is the name of the font that Norfolk Southern uses?

I don't know how to create a splash screen, but I do have the original screen (the one before this sorta ugly one). I can upload it.

I'd rather have an American centric splash screen. :)

You could check the File Library here under the Miscellaneous Files section. *!!wink!!*

I don't know if that tutorial will help or not. !*don-know!*

Well after a little research and trial and error, I figured it out. First, use a program like GIMP to create the splash screen you want to use. When you're done, save it as "ui_splash_railsim.tga"

Now take that file a place it in the following directory:

(Whichever hard drive you installed RW on):\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\data\textures\frontend

It should now appear as your splash screen when you start Railworks. (You might need to mess around with the image scaling to get it to look right though) This archive also contains all the other splash screens RW uses if you want to replace them.
