It is a bit odd that there aren't any available. The UP and SP used a lot of them in the late 50s and early 60s. They would add variety to the never-ending EMDs.

ok, a u-boat does not seem to be a submarine vessel for you. But what is it then? !*don-know!* There are some ships available on UKTS though !**duh*!!

Toldrabald,

U-Boats is the nickname for the early GE Universal series of diesel locomotives.

Yes it would be nice to have some GE U boats but it seems like there is not any locomotives or freight cars being made by anyone unless its RS.COM.. I sure wish more people form MSTS would join RW to make stuff for this game.

yes i agree. only RW.com, DTM, and Brikkits have made payware Diesel locos. although there are some very nice freeware ones like the GP38 from jointedrail.
i think 3DTrains should start a project on it. there ATSF F units were great and they are really good at making 3D assets (i guess that is why they call it "3D" trains)
in their homepage background they have some nice units for MSTS, which would be great if they could find a way to transfer them to RW.

I have emailed several of the leading MSTS locomotive/car companies requesting that they release some of their better models for RW. Maybe it would help if more of us encouraged them. Based on what I have seen from several RW suppliers, it seems the RW community is steadily growing.

It would be nice for the community to lend a hand as well, all it really costs is just time.

Blender and Gimp are free programs to use to create for RailWorks. (I use them)
