I have FRAPS and Window Media Player. I want to know what is normally done to a video before uploading to YouTube. FRAPS makes an .avi file and I can edit it with Media Player and it creates a .wmv file.
You basically put the FRAPS file(s) into WMM, and convert it(or them) to .wmv to upload to YouTube. If you wish, you can put a series of clips together and put transitions, and titles, and music, etc.
I uploaded one to youtube a few days ago, and I didn't convert it, just uploaded the raw Frapps video as it was. Took a long time to upload though. Perhaps YouTube automatically converts them?
Well this is how i do it i have FRAPS The payware verison what i do is a go into Railworks and make my movie clips i want then when i get done with that i use a program called Sony Vegas 2009 to edit all my videos.i open up my computer and then go to fraps and i drag my video clips into the program and then i start to edit my clips after i get it all done you save it by clickin on render as. After that is done i go to youtube and i upload my movie. Then i share it with you all.. Enjoy
