Dimmed Lights

Unread postby CSXAC4413 » Wed Jul 03, 2013 5:08 pm

Hi train fans, i was wondering if there was any type of mod that will dim the headlights of any US locomotive, like these (First Picture, Dimmed Lights) As you can see, the headlight is dim, and the Ditch-lights are off.

(Second Picture, Full Bright Lights) As you can see with this one, the headlight AND Ditch-lights are on, plus with Full Brightness.

I do have TSX turned on too.

That has been brought up a lot. I really don't understand why RSC hasn't changed that for US stock. I know its different in European equipment, but it's one of those "bigger" issues for most players. Even after going to Montana and Idaho for BNSF references, you'd think they would have understood how much the setting really is used. I don't know what is going on in their offices, but every other simulator that I know of has that capability. I think that if every switch, button and lever in the cab worked as it should, that would be quite the step up. I for sure would like to see it.

You don't need to upgrade to 2014.

RSC could do it if they wanted to. They just don't. No clue as to why.
