You will probably have to go through the "new computer" recognition thing where they will e-mail you a code to enter and then it will recognize your location.

Make sure you change the email that is associated with steam before you switch if your email address is going to change.

This is going to be a huge problem! I will not know the new e-mail address until I change ISP. Also I have not been able to access my profile since steam was hacked. Worked with steam tech for 4 months and never was able to access profile. Finally gave up as steam tech was none responsive.

Oh boy, that sounds like a mess. Can you sign on to your account? I am assuming that your e-mail is part of your present isp, correct?

Create a gmail account. Then it doesn't matter which ISP you use.

Wow!! Steam is a real PITA! Since I have not tried to access my account in almost a year, I thought I would try again. Clicked on steam shortcut on desktop. Windows tried to install but failed. Checking the steam folder I found that almost all files were missing. Luck was with me and was able to access the steam window using a shortcut steam created to bypass the steam window and start TS 2013 directly. Able to verify files of games and found that after I could now access acount. Created new desktop shortcut for steam and all is working.
The G-mail suggestion is interesting.

Definitely go with Gmail.
I have never used the e-mail account provided by my ISP.

gmail, outlook.com, yahoo mail, ... it does not really matter which you use, but it makes you independent from your ISP, so whenever you change, your e-mail stays the same.

I've had Net Zero since the days of dial up. Even tho I don't pay for their internet service, they let me keep my e mail add'y. That's for private stuff. G Mail is for everything else. I can get both on my cell phone, too. Doesn't matter what ISP is, I've had three since Net Zero.
