Railworks America

I have owned and played Railworks/Train Simulator almost since day one without any major problems, up until now. The program refuses to load. I hit the play button on Steam, get the usual blank screen for a couple of (10 to 15) seconds then the title page appears and stays there forever. There is a line at the bottom saying "v51.2a updating scenario database....". Does anyone have a fix for this?

Oh dear...

It seems like i am getting a related problem.

When ever i try to put any rolling stock or any locomotives in the game i get the same number and letters : v51.2a.dmp


Could this be a bad DTG patch?

No.

Is it possible to Clear the Cache from outside of TS2015? I believe I have subscribed to a bad Workshop scenario and even though I have unsubscribed to all scenarios within the last three weeks I still can't get the program to run.

Sure. Open a command window in your Railworks folder and type

Code: Select all

DEL /S /F blueprint.pak

As a precaution, after this is done, also type

Code: Select all

DEL /S /F pontrack.bin
