Railworks America

I downloaded this from the workshop today and it said to download the NJT Comet Cars from this site. So i did that but now i cant figure out how to install it and to where to get it to work in the game. Can someone please help me with this? Really wanna try it.

Ugh :/..i really hope someone eventually reads this and knows where to exact the comet cars in the railworks folder to get this working :(..my dad worked for NJT for about 20 years before he passed and this route was the line he worked.. NY to Long Branch -Bay Head..i use to goto work with him and sit up in the engine all day and go back an fourth..so when i saw this route and that i could actually have NJT cars i couldnt believe it... my dad would sure as hell love it!

The title says (FIXED) which everyone thinks your problem has been solved. Is it not solved I take it?

OH NO!! its not fixed..thats a copy and paste from the workshop..thats the actual name of it!.. yea i still nee to kno where to install the cars in the railworks folder

how can i edit the name to get rid of that?

This is the procedure for installing a .RWP file you downloaded into Train Simulator 2014

1. Download the RWP file and save it in a secure place on your hard disk – just in case you might have to reinstall the route at a later time.

(NOTE: If it is in an archive file, .ZIP or .RAR or .7z, you must extract it first, do not try to install it from the archive file.)

2. Now install the RWP file with Train Simulator's Package Manager. To access that tool, launch utilities.exe in the main Train Simulator installation folder.

3. Note: You can find utilities.exe by right clicking on the Train Simulator 2014 title in your Steam Library, selecting Properties, and then clicking the “Browse Local Content” button on the “Local Files” tab.

4. Once the Utilities are running, go to the Package Manager Tab, click the Install button, browse to the file from step one, click Open. The package will be installed now, after which you can run your new download in the game!

i get to step 4 and get confused..where is the package manager tab?

nm i found the package manager but the addons arent showin up in the list with the others when i refresh.and when i click install it brings me to the folders but i cant select anything to install

tried to run the maps and still get failed to load comet cars :(..man this really REALLY sucks that i cant get this working!!!

ok..i think i kno..when i did the first steps after i extract u said install usin that tool..but how do i install it usin it?

Look inyour Railworks folder near the bottom. There is a file called Utilities.exe. Double click on it and it and the utlities will open.

yea i did all that..an found everything but theres nothing for me to actually install. thats wha t im no understanding

Click on Package manager then install. It should open a window where you go browse to the rwp folder you are trying to install. Highlight and then click on open and it should install.

yea..i do that an open it..it doesnt show it actually installin anything..after i open them i refresh it then try to play but still just says that it cannot load the comet cars :( idk what to do... this is horrible

After you get the install going is there a bar going back and forth for a minute or more?
