Please Help

Unread postby NewEnglandCentral » Mon Dec 01, 2014 3:47 pm

I really need help...sorry for so many posts. I recently tried to repaint CSX SD70MAC #4500 "Spirit of Cumberland" and , using RSBintool, exported data, edited the file etc. When I selected import DDS, an error message comes up saying "There are not enough MipMaps to replace the data." This is really annoying and I would gladly appreciate any support from you guys! !*hp*!
Thanks once again!

You say you edited the file etc. What did you edit it with and then how did you save it? It sounds like you did not save it in the same format that you exported it from. Like it needs to be a dds DXT3 or something like that to import it.

I saved as a DDS through DXT.bmp program and I edited the texture with Paint.net

OK, when you opened it with DXTBmp added the alpha layer back in then you should say to save as. One of your choices will be DDS. That needs to match whatever the one you have open in RSBinTool. Like I said before like DXT3 or whatever it is.

Try exporting from RSBinTool to your DXT open it in Paint.Net save it back without changing anything and see if that works OK then we can go from there
