More than one game version?

I have a copy of ts 2012 on an old laptop and ts2013 on another computer is there anyway i could copy the files into the steam section of games and not have it overwrite or be overwritten. If you dont understand what im talking about is that i have 2 copies of different ts versions and i want to use them all.

Copy to External drive, paste to newer game.

It's a question of which files to copy.
The Assets can be copied over without problem, I guess the Content folder too, with all routes and scenarios.
Anything else and you risk to copy 2015 content over the older versions.

You can copy the asset folder but choose or not overwrite any files, keeping the newer ones.
