This happened to me too on Fort Kent to Eagle Lake. I just stuck my head out of the window. *!lol!*

The ICE-T used to have it too, but DTG found that one before releasing it. There is a wide range of items that have these issues as discussed (big word for this thread). DTG is aware of the issue, but since it requires adjusting transparency on objects, like signals, engines and other items that use the same method of building the graphics, it will not be a quick fix for now. And as with every issue, not everybody sees it, which is fine and which does not require more of the same messages we already seen in this forum

Unless you have a useful thing to add to the discussion, it is time to end this discussion *!!thnx!!*

Well seeing how my input is not worthwhile then I will not be posting here anymore

I had to jog my memory.
Since Reppo made the GP-20 maybe the Centipede and other engines have some of these 3D weather issues?

Matt has been coming around. Maybe we should just start a new thread and ask people to list DLC/Assets that have had either operational and/or graphics bugs introduced by 2015s changes. Just tell people this won't include third party routes and DLC, only DTG DLC, or maybe list DLC only available on Steam. Have a mod enforce that.
Maybe start a second thread to list features and buttons that are missing like the Resume for Quick Drive.

If you are going to start something like that please put it into the Problems and peculiarities topic.

I hope you reconsider. I think it's useful to post what equipment is affected. I failed to add that I had changed the weather to the 3D style to check it out.

I rectify:
I thought I did not happen myself, but also happens to me. Sorry. *!embar*!

And judging by what you see in the video bellow, this is related to something from the semaphore lights.

In Stevens Pass route.

Actually, like Buzz already said, adding what TS equipment is affected is useful info.
And the 'you' in my sentence wasn't meant as a you personally, robbit. !!**sorry**!! It was meant for everybody who was not posting anything that added something useful to the discussion.

See.... that's a new one I didn't see. I don't own the GP20 yet so I wasn't aware of that either.

I don't blame the authors at all since their content was fine under TS2014 and I can't see them of having anticipated this. DTG is to blame only in the sense that they should have QC tested all the content and DLC they sell. I don't expect standalone 3rd party content sold off websites (not sold through DTG) to be DTG's responsibility. I also don't blame DTG's programmers cuz they didn't know the 3D weather would affect a MINORITY of the assets.

And that's the key....a minority of assets affected while the majority works. The authors obviously must have used some technique that was slightly off the beaten path without knowing it truly was until TS2015 revealed that to them... because the majority of content for the sim works.

Not only am I looking forward to the fix, but I'm really looking forward to hopefully an explanation of what exactly made this particular minority of content fail in this respect. I'm a technical nuts and bolts kinda guy that loves to hear the details of why things fail or succeed while others don't. !!det!!

Key, " QC tested all the content and DLC they sell." Once again a failure to test the stuff they sell. We can and should ask for this. It shouldn't be too much.

Sorry, Bob, didn't mean for my post to come across that way. I just made an observation, asked a question then added **!!2cents!!** . And I know all too well how much this community does for fixing bugs in this sim, and that is really appreciated. I apologize. !!**sorry**!!

Stevens Pass is by GNTX, so DTG has no involvement in the creation of the route.
The Stevens Pass pdf manaul doesn't list an email address of GNTX, but we can assume Michael Stephan, aka GreatNortherner on this board, is one of its creators.

I'll send him a PM with the request to read this thread. He might contact the other creators and together they might find a solution.

They might have been the creators but it was sold through RSC/DTG.
