I only recently found out about the 3 routes that were to be added for free at the beginning of this thread, but I don't have them. What do I do to get them? Also, is there any way to unlock new scenarios or can I only download new ones? They don't show up in Career Mode and that's where I want new ones.

Then it's not really an upgrade. I don't just want the core stuff. I want the routes. I was led to believe I was getting those.
