3D weather lighting

Unread postby Scott » Sat Aug 15, 2015 7:06 pm

I tried out the 3D weather and I notice the lighting is wrong. During summer it's dark at 6:30 in the morning instead of being light with out street lights on. During winter it's light at 6:30 with street lights on. I thought it should be the other way around. Is there a way to correct that?

You need to tell us what route. I've seen the northern and southern hemispheres reversed and messed up numerous times.

How did you try out the 3D weather? This route came out before 3D weather so you may see some problems. Are you creating a scenario? Try without 3D Weather for this route.

It's been so long since I tested this route. I do kind of remember this problem, I swear it was fixed. *!lol!*

The 3D weather came with the San Diego and Los Angeles Commuter packs. The 3D weather is with the scenarios for those packs. How can it be fixed?

3D weather is part of the default assets since it was released. Anyone can use them. The files are in a AP file somewhere. They would need edited to change it but you would be changing them for every route.

I looked at the scenario properties and there's 3D weather in the Pacific Surfliner folder but when I look it's not there and no ap file

I believe it might be in the Kuju folder structures.
