3rd party downloads.

Unread postby ValleyBoy » Fri Jan 02, 2015 3:49 pm

I have recently updated to TS2015. I have numerous 3rd party routes, scenarios and rolling stock that I had downloaded and installed inTS2013. These items are still present in my TS2015 asset and content files but they don't show up when I run TS2015. Is there a way to get these items included in TS2015?

The TS2015 interface filters what you see. For example, if you are in the Drive / Standard screen, it will only show you the routes that have standard scenarios.

Go to the Drive tab, select Standard, and you can scroll down the list of routes on the right hand side of the screen using the mouse wheel, that should be about as fast as you can find your routes.

I don't have the missing routes under any of the 4 tabs even though they are in my TS2015 contents file and they are listed in RailWorks when I go to the scenarios/edit scenarios window.
Another strange thing is that I purchased and installed and ran the Canadian Mountain Passes route but it isn't listed in the above mentioned window.

VB
CMP only came with CAREER scenarios so unless you have downloaded some Workshop (standard) scenarios nothing will show under "STANDARD" (as Mike S states above). There were also some tutorial scenarios probably under "Academy" in the main menu.

Go into build and you should find your routes. At the very least you should be able to create a free roam scenario.

Buzz:
Thanks, I've found the missing routes and their scenarios in the Build section. Is there any way I can make them playable in the Sim; they don't show up under any of the tabs in Drive.

Yeah I think you need to go in and edit them to call them a standard or a free roam whichever they were before and then they should show up. If that doesn't work I'm sure you can make a clone and then give it a copy name and type it as a standard scenario and you should be good to go.
