Would've swore BN would be primary pack considering they operated the largest fleet of them and the fact that we have BN routes. lol either way I'm excited to help with this in any way possible.

BNSF has screwed themselves out of the Primary Pack because of their stance on international sales. It wouldn't make sense to build repaints around a pack that only a few people on the planet could buy.

Roger that! Still dont understand why that is the case with them. Even Canada, where we operate trains in!
Edit: I was trying to figure out why the model looked so weird to me, and even with the Reading prototype picture. BNs were different in the fact the auxiliary cabinet was bulged out entirely instead of just around the radiator.

Not to mention the square headlight-numberboard assembly of the early U boats and the later rounded style that was more associated with the Dash 7s as well! So many variations!

Well chosen!

If you do it right, you can use the base model for many 2nd gen. U-boatvariations, 4 and 6 axle, low and high short hoods, to keep us spending our money.

Interesting! Does it suppose to have complex startup sequence, as with GP40?

I look forward to your next project. Your recent creations have moved RW locomotives several notches ahead of what was little or no new developments in cab control operations.
I'll be watching. *!greengrin!*

As a Canadian I say thank you for that decision! That BNSF issue is a weird one for sure.

When I was a kid, every spring my parents went to Florida and stopped at Walthers and brought me back some HO model stuff. One year I got a U-boat. I had never seen that and my immediate thought was "you are an ugly motherfarker".
On top of that it was IC, and the orange and white livery did nothing to make it look prettier.

I'm with him on that. BNSF is screwing themselves over with that. It's odd they won't allow Canada even though I saw 2 BNSF units at MacMillan Yard 2 days ago and CP had a bunch of BNSF units heading through my area. Does anyone know if this is also for model railroad manufacturers as well?

One last thing, are there any routes we could run reading units on? I know nothing about them other than there name.

Guys just a friendly reminder... we already beat the BNSF international sales issue to death. Lets talk about U30C goodness *!greengrin!*

Interesting one - no logo of The-Company-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, but in familiar "Cascade green" paint scheme
