Didn't DTG just issue a Core Update about two weeks ago? Which update should we expect, and when is it being implemented. !!**sorry**!! !**conf**!

Not DTG's core update. We have our own set of files which we identify as a 'core set'. Think of this role out as our first service pack.

Can't wait for these. Will these come with any BN cars?

As I test drove one of my new scenarios, set in snowy weather, last night, I wondered whether that snow would ever be able to accumulate on the switching engine I was driving. Frankly, folks, your image of snow accumulation looks more like blocks of Styrofoam than the real thing, which does not pile up in tidy layers. Then there's the fact that snow accumulation on an engine but not on the cars it's hauling would look more ridiculous than no snow accumulation at all. Maybe some natural effects just cannot be simulated? !*don-know!*

Papa, whad'i tell ya?

Well gosh forbid we should try anything new that might look a bit odd or fake to anyone. We'll just remove the snow, the icey texture, fix a single type of pilot, and remove the flashers. Then you can play with a another generic locomotive whose only difference from any other is the paint.

I think it would look perfect for a stationary engine. Everything here looks like that after a snowfall. Amazing how the snow will shape and square itself on a fence.
