So far the CSX GP40-2 that is used in the Horse Shoe Curve helper scenario seems to be functioning properly in TS 2015.

I second that! Seems to work fine. Only possible issue is the headlight as seen reflected off white surfaces from inside the cab. It seems to wash them out into a greyish tint. Might need other's input on that one. Certainly not a big deal though!

Looks fantastic. Got some routes waiting for these. Run them along with my BN C36-7's in the same consists.
I like the older diesels. !!*ok*!!

The only one I care about. !**duh*!! Nice straight 40! Do you plan on making the 40s, 40-2s, and GP40Gs?

Thats not entirely true. We have plans on creating many of the odd rebuilds. For instance if and when we get the UP license we will be creating the GP40M which SP used.

Sorry to say this but

Headlight Position is wrong.

Should be a cab mount not a hood mount.

Actually, its correct for many ex-CB&Q GP40s.

It was the rebuilt locomotives that got cab lights.

For VRC, the Difference between an E, M, G to a standard 40 is just the internals(Dash-2 Modular electronics), and on the G's, they were GATX long term leasers IIRC.
Of course, the ex-Friscos as you have mentioned were -2s, and had varying details as the years progressed.

VRC wrote:BNOV2 we are using the same internet, right? Google Burlington Northern GP40 and you will find that they had a variety of configurations. Some had nose mounted headlights. Some of the ones that came from SLSF had cable-holders on the pilots and the mars light indention on the nose. Some had dome shaped warning flashers, others had the classic gum-ball machine type. We have a lot of accessories and positions to choose from.

BTW, the Frisco unit that we have already built does have the nose recess on top and the mars light. It was one of the first GP40's that we put paint on. It won't be out for a while though, as it needs a lot of finishing work.

Ahh! Didn't know it was a Ex Frisco unit. Thats why. And the one with the "sorta" barrel light on the last page, Thats different.

Now since its a nose light, then we can have BNSF repaints aswell :)
