Unread postby Railroy19 » Tue Aug 26, 2014 5:05 pm

looking for the E-mail address for VRC. I would like to order the new CSX GP40-2 from them but can;t find the link for the e-mail.
Anyone know where I can find that?
I guess it's a new site and not sure how to contact them.
Thanks,

Bob

Some more info, and pics of other livery options on their site: http://www.vrailcreations.net/dwonlaods/gp402.html

Just let us know where to add money! !*YAAA*!

Well, as usual Murphy rules... During the final testing phase, we found out the brakes are locking in some cases. Debugging now.

Better you the guinea pigs than us, paying customers. *!lol!*

Looking forward to your GP40-2 release nevertheless. High horsepower 4 axle roadswitchers have been lacking for too long, and now we get 2 all of a sudden.
Will you provide an all inclusive pack? I don't like buying one base model and each repaint separately. Looks too much like DTG's recent sales model. There were like how many roads that bought GP40-2's new and a whole lot more who ran them second hand.

VRC wrote:As far as roads, we have not decided who will be next. We do have license for Norfolk Southern, and we are putting together a presentation package for another railroad license. I will say this, we have quite a few things on our plate for the future, if we can pull it off. Stay tuned.

So it is more like Jointed Rail, where each engine differs ever so slightly, apart from the paint job, justifying the price?

NS, you mean high short hood and long hood forwards with dual control stands on ex N&W units? Cool!

I guess once you have the basic model done, you can kit it up to railroad specs, much like an h0 scale model. Cab windows, bells, horns, dynamic brake blisters, m.u. stands, drop steps, footboards, snow plows, antennae, air conditioners, headlights, class lights, number boards, grabs and handrails, air filters, sight glasses, fuel fillers, single clasp/double clasp brakeshoes, rubber/steel springs, ratchet/wheel handbrake, steam generators, vents... And this is only factory options available from EMD, not to mention what railroads added or removed during the life cycle of the units because of wrecks or capital rebuilts. Endless possibilities to rob us of our money. *!!wink!!*

Will see what is being offered so I can "pick and mix" as my wallet allows.

Now we only need to competition: GE U30B's! And did ALCo/MLW also offer a late 60's till 70's 3000 HP 4-axle roadswitcher?

Are you going to have a PayPal purchase option?
And how can we find out when you are up and running?

Can't wait !*cheers*!

A new thread may be started, but the VRC pack is now available! I ordered the base pack, plus the two variant packs. I am happy to report the ordering process went smoothly. After payment,I immediately had links to the items. Installation was flawless, all items were available in the menu, after checking the VRC box,of course. The engines look fantastic, sound fantastic, and operate likewise. I want to thank the team for this wonderful new content!

Where? No links in your post, and no links (that I can see) on the VRC page.
Cheers!

That will be corrected shortly. I am confirming with Jerry to make sure the store is working properly.

... and he just emailed me... hold on tight!

Update:
Its up.
