Process to purchase went as smooth as ice, (to be polite). ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. Thanks for what must have been a tremendous effort on your part. The horn is excellent.
Just ran a couple of yard runs and have yet to open her up (soon). Could use some radio chatter, as I didn't hear any if there is some.
Thanks again. !!*ok*!!

What about Canada?
It's not in Europe and doesn't have VAT.

Radio chatter was purposely left off so that Scenario creators could supply their own. The smooth sultry voice that you hear in the "U30C Bring em' in" scenario is mine own. We spared no expense!

Good screen shots. I really like those GP40's!

It's isolated. There have only been two issues today out of all the purchases. I'm not sure if it's traffic, or the net speed on the end-user side is causing the download to time out. Either way, i'll get the file through someway! BTW, I haven't forgotten yours. I've got to find time to squeeze in a the upload to another area of the server.

Gotcha, will be standing by!

It would be swell if you would let us know what re-paints are being contemplated so those of us with the urge to repaint this beauty don't get crosswise with you. I'm too old to get in a shoot em out with your SWAT team.

Buzz, pretty much whatever you want to do. The only ones that are definite for me is the Santa Fe U28CG, and the Burlington Northern Phase II unit. The reason that I put the re-paintable textures in was that I knew I would not have time to get the multitude that are available done before starting on the next project.

Speaking of the Santa Fe, it's coming along quite well. Took her maiden voyage three days ago.

So you are cool with me doing a L&N to go along with the GP40?

Now you do realize that L&N had the Phase II's, which looked different in the rear radiator area? If you don't mind that little descrepancy, then knock yourself out. A little challenge...

So no comment on Canadian sales? Seems silly close the store to us because of European issues.

I was thinking more along the line of the classic L&N paint job one I have always liked.

Buzz, I have to say that, unfortunately agewise, I remember those units, and the subsequent Seaboard System liveries. I remember also the Mars lights bouncing around on foggy nights.

What seems silly to me is to tax digital downloads but not tax physical goods coming in from outside the country, and to make the importer pay the tax instead of the customer. Fact is, almost every country on the planet has some sort of VAT tax, including Canada, and including Australia in 2017. They just differ in rates. Canada is 5-6%, Great Britain is 19-20%. Either way, it's something i'm just not prepared to deal with. I'm not going to spend more time trying to figure out who and how much taxes to send than I do working on digital models. I'm a rail-fan, not a tax collector. I'm also not an enforcer of copyright for big railroad corporations. And, the country filter I use does not allow to pick and choose - it's prohibit all or none. Thus, the prohibition on international sales for VRC.

That being said, let it be known that I am trying to work something out with Trains and Drivers to stock and sell VRC products. I sent over the GP40-2 last weekend and a boatload of promotional photos for it today. If that works out, then i'll see if they would like to also stock the 40-2 add-ons and the U30C. Be patient and lets see where this goes. Trust me, I don't like turning down a dollar any more than you like being locked out of the store. **!!bang!!**

Don't worry, that's OK.
Anyway, there's all kind of other possibilities.
