Thanks for the pic, glad to see it is still around somewhere. Have to say so far the screen shots of the model overall so far are awesome. You guys really have stepped up your game on the modeling/visual aspect of your add-ons!

Best of Luck!

Please raise that drop step, at least on the front porch. It will interfere with the coupling geometry, like it does on the SD40-2.

Also try to add the safety chain, many models have an ugly gap in the front and rear railings.

Incredible... I love the 'presentation' of the loco at the start, and the videos co-star as well! You guys have raised the bar, again!

Top notch production of the video too!

The hi-hood GP40-2 looks nice. Do the NS GP40-2s have cab signaling for the NJCL?

On a serious note, I'm beyond impressed with this work. I am thinking all the sounds were professionally recorded from an actual U30C. Is there a way to port these sounds to the DTG U36B?

That is not entirely true. If the Script ain't there, it ain't got no go, and i'm not a scripter. Easier to visualize the shape than grasp what a local or global control does to the math of a combubulated object. !*don-know!*

Don't get too excited there about the sounds, tk9. The main sounds - engine, hood doors, prime, start, and such - were recorded from the U30 that belongs to the Illinois Railway Museum. I had to do some heavy mixing to overcome #5383's ailments though, as the unit kept ground faulting at Notch 6. It was good to get on board a real U30 to see just exactly what they were all about.

The amount detail put into the operation is amazing, not to mention it looks and sounds great. Jerry, I think I saw you recording at diesel days. It was pretty neat to see that beast in action despite the mechanical issues!

I was the guy holding the Tribble and pointing it at everything that made noise.

The engineer that was running the RS 11 gave me a good run up from his unit, but I was standing between it and the U30C while it was idling so things goT muddled up,

Yep, that sounds familiar :D There was a lot of chugging going on between the RSD15, RSD5, and U30C. Regardless, I can't wait for the BN U30C!
