I follow what Papa and the Commune tell me needs to be there. I'm just the sheet metal fabricator!

As far as that vent, I forgot that I had photographed the interior of one of these in a CSX Road Slug. The vent is to the right (top) of the chair. Can I also assume that there is some sort of mesh screen to keep out the wildlife?

The light business is confusing, since the railroads including S.P. used both Pyle Gyra Lights and Products from Mars Signal Light Company.

Easy - 1st generation locomotives were originally delivered with Mars lights (Fs, GP7/9, SD9, etc.), while 2nd gen sets came equipped with Gyralights. During the 1960s, many of the remaining Geeps and SDs were converted to Gyralight systems to ease maintenance. :D

Oh, I can understand the confusion now. There was this photo that I posted on Facebook last year. It prompted some comments implicating metalphelia. Honestly though folks, she doesn't have a big enough caboose for me.
