I also wondered that as well, and even though Buzz has very kindly offered us a map, it's from 1923, and I don't think Railworks was around then. !*roll-laugh*!
Probably, Penn Coal and Horseshoe Curve routes from DTG and Thomas Bontempo's freeware P&LE route if you have it, I can't think of any other Pennsylvania routes off the top of my head at the moment, unless, someone can throw some other suggestions into the ring.

Of course, it depends if the very nice folks at VRC do some other skins besides the Reading one, that would give us more opportunities to run these workhorses over different layouts.

How about the NERW Pennsylvania route? Reading should feel quite at home on that one.

With a working Mars and Gyra lights...
Used to hear these things clanking along the Coast Line via the Mulford block past my grandparents house in San Leandro Ca. !*drool*!
Note the "L" window in front of the driver. The top of the "L" window is actually on a slant as well.

Been a little while since any screenies. I've also been busy with a certain Geep, but things are beginning to accelerate now that that project is finally winding down.

EDIT: These are photos of the Phase 1/Late U28 unit. We do have the Phase 2 shell built, the one that has the full width radiator section all the way down to the deck.

It looks good so far!

Nice to see the older GE control stand.

Were these really painted jade green?
How many notches are on the throttle? It seems GE had 8 notches plus "half notches" in between, probably only operational in pure GE lash ups.

I only have my MSTS 3DTrains WP U30B's as a reference but don't know if these are 100% accurate. They still look pretty good, tho.
AFAIK, there is no photorealistic cab in the Trainsim.com library, only the newer KC108 control stand as in the DTG U36B.

It looks like one of those gasoline/petroleum fueled camping cookers.

Now what would be worse: a spat of gravy in the loo, or a spat of pee or poo in your baked beans?

Could be a space-heater, or a radio for that matter, the picture isn't clear enough.

Aren't there any preserved in museums? I heard Illinois Railway Museum has one.
