I believe the NS Coal route is rather frame rate intensive with all the trees and other scenery popping up as you travel the route. Try running the U30C on other routes.
I've had good results with this engine. Of coarse I just added a EVGA G-Force GTX 970 game card to my rig. WOW. !*brav*!

I have performance problems with VRC U30C - quite low framerate on all 3 scenarios supplied with the pack.
my computer has quite low end videocard Radeon HD 6630M/256M , but with VRC GP40 there was no such lags


The GP40 was all totaled about 150k polys. Lots of rounded angles that were obviously faceted. The U30C is 3x + those polys and twice the amount of textures. Early GE units were not angular at all, and I like my curves to actually be curves.
