Well I did what Wayne said and started with the Mixmap folder and sure enough when I renamed it, I do not crash. Route sure looks funny in all green.

So I am going to back 1 version to get the wheat back and see how that works out. The wheat looked good there.

I don't have the prerequisites to run the LS&W expansion, but I have a copy.

On checking my copy I see the route references the RWA\Lakeside\...\TerrainTextures.bin file which has textures defined for slot 0 through 29. But I see the mixmap folder was painted with textures including ones from Slots 30 to 151. It seems the MixMaps were painted with a different TerrainTexture file than the one that is referenced. Did you intend to ship a new TerrainTextures.bin file with the LS&W expansion and perhaps forgot to include it?

I did not have anything to do with that part, Terry will have to chime in on that stuff. I am still trying to figure out how to add more starting locations to the DSCV when it is also referenced from the original route.

Whew, I am in a little over my head here, I added the textures from Bob's PA Div.V2 route, I assumed if the player had that installed that I would only need to edit the route Properties xml file. But here is a copy of the terrain Textures.Bin file it references all the added textures as well as the original Thanks to everyone so far for all the help in getting this going. *!!thnx!!*

Which folder did you take this out of? Or where did you have it?

OK! That was the problem. Except that creates another problem. The original route now uses the new terraintexturing bin file also. Same with the GPS markers. We need to make our own provider and product folder structure for the routetemplate folder and texturing folder. I will attempt to do this now.

More progress:

I made another routetemplate file and another terraintexturing file, both prefixed with LSW. I edited the files to call these new ones. That prevents us from screwing up the original route files. So there are now two files that have to be packaged with the LSW from the original route.

I am using the route with the wheat at Hermantown which was V1A.

I am now going to see about adding a different CSV file for the GPS markers so the LSW's won't interfere with the original. Will post my progress.

More progress: We now have the GPS markers for the LSW extension. This is what gives you starting points when creating a new scenario. Someone, I assume Buzz already had some created. I added them and a new file to call them in the original route's RouteMarkers folder. One slight drawback is, they also show up in the original route's selections as well. However, I prefixed all of them with LSW. So we will just have to note that in the docs.

So there are now 4 files that have to be packaged from the original route's folders.

I am now getting ready to rip out all the signals and redo them. Then a lot of turn outs need redone. Hitting some of them at line speed as indicated throws you right off the tracks. Line speed is 45 mph, these turn outs are for 15 mph, maybe 20 tops, not good for a passing siding. After the signals I will attempt to straighten out some of this trackwork.

This means no one should be doing anything else to the route at this time.

I could use some help getting assets. I assume you would have all of these on your system that you could just zip up for me. Do not include the 3DTrains stuff or the Durango route stuff which is in the G-Trax DSNG folder structure. I do not own that route.

Hi Bob,
Have been doing some testing on this over the weekend - wonderful route and a big thank you to all involved in getting it out to the masses. certainly do appreciate your comments re switches. I kept derailing at 8-9mph and thought I might have to have a go at tweaking it myself later (even managed to get quite a roll up with the Doodlebug *!lol!* ) Would be great to be able to eventually get coal from Tri-State down to the docks on the RWA.

Thanks again - it is a thankless task, but we love you for it **!!bow!!**

**!!bow!!**

*!!thnx!!* to everybody

Today I got the Route to run and tried to do the Riverside to Saginaw Scenario. I may have posted in the wrong thread. Posted my problem in the RWA Lakeside LS&W Expansion ( Cloned Route) Thread. It appears that his is the proper place to post problem. If so maybe the administrator will move it here.
