Take this as just a suggestion to improve an otherwise excellent job. Several vertical structural elements appear to be closer to the tracks than railroads normally allow, specifically the coaling tower, the water column, the chip loaders, perhaps others. The minimum clearance requirements of many railroads are available on the Internet, and the various states impose requirements of their own. Since this is a fictional railroad in an unknown state, one could argue that there are no such requirements. Maybe next time... !*don-know!*

!*drool*! **!!bow!!**

Hoping there will at least be some decent grades for the coal drags out of Tri-State

(but it beats me why you would ruin a good screenie by putting a dirty box in it :D )

!*cheers*!

Well the ruling grade is a modest 0.6%, The terrain in the area would not really allow for any major elevation changes.

You know the main reason I started this route was to say Thank You. To the Authors who created such a Great Route with the original RW&A Lakeside, and for doing it to help this site and the Community as a whole. Very Impressive. Secondly to say Thank You to Bob Artim, it is his generosity that has kept RWA right where it has always been. It is the place I always go to first when I need to find Information, re-paints, Etc. what ever the case may be. So with in the route those of you who download it when it's released will find a lot of familiar names, many of the Industries, track's ,Yards are named for very Familiar people with in this community I hope that I did not offend anyone. There are also several places that were really not close enough to the track's that I could name, but were important to me to show. Here are a couple of my favorite's First is MadMikes 24hr service, The one place that never sleeps in Downtown Saginaw City, And just outside the front gate of North Woods Charcoal, Harry Adkins BARBER Shop a great place to get a shave, a trim, And find out all the latest news. So to Mad Mike & Harry Adkins Thank you for all the great repaints. I hope if you run the route when you pass by your little spot in the world you don't think badly of me.

Interesting what we use. At what I call the "Wide Spot in the Road" up on the Carlton branch there is another gas station of the same name. Remember those days of cookie cutter gas stations?

The Carlton branch is looking awesome Buzz. Very nice work.. Yea I do remember in the little town I grew up in there were 4 Standard Oil gas stations they looked identical the only difference was the owner's name above the front door. Nice screen shots..

The Lake Superior & Western needed a little more hauling power than it's RS-1 when the coal branch really got going so it picked up a couple of F7's from the NERW. Early and easy paint job was to just wipe out the NORTHEASTERN and slap the new letters on them.

At that time everyone agreed that a more striking paint job would be in order as soon as practical.
