Watertown coal delivery problem

Unread postby madhattr15 » Sat Oct 18, 2014 5:08 pm

I was wondering if anyone has a solution to my problem. When delivering 2 full coal cars to Watertown you first have to move an empty. No matter what I do as soon as I remove the empty I get an X for that step and it tells me to get the caboose. I think it thinks I tried to deliver the full coal cars. Has anyone had this problem. I have not had this problem with any other scenarios.

Please state which work order you are running. That would help in trouble shooting. Thank you in advance. *!twisted!* !!jabber!!

Sorry it's the "coal supply"scenario. In step 6 I am suppose to deliver 2 full coal cars in the Watertown yard but first have to remove an empty one. As I stated when I remove the empty one I get an x for completion and goes to the next step of getting the caboose. I have tried several different ways but get the same result. I hope this explains it sorry for the lack of info.

Sorry for the delay however I just completed this activity and it is a good one to run.

I suspect your problem may be hitting the empty car to fast thereby going in to deep to the siding. Try coupling at a speed between 0.2 mph and 0.5 mph and be ready to brake quickly. I hope this helps you with this activity. !!jabber!!
