Long awaited...as the GE AC4400CW - UP

Nicely crafted. Great sounds. Some are indicating some sound issues but it is being addressed by Searchlight Simulations. I have all 3 packs and no sound issues here. These new cars are located in the FRT folder.

The FMC 50 ft DDBoxcar I been waiting for months, I Reskinned about 6 skin before it came out, its one Car and its not sinkable my Reskin cars don't even show on the list??? Well at least I can use one skin

Is that reskinned from a JointedRail SS new pack of cars or it´s about another sort of rolling stock?
Because these cars have some working characteristics that don´t have regular rolling stock.

It is a nice pack. I noticed it contains an End of Train Device. Does anyone know how to get this to appear on the last freight car on the train?
I am not familiar with the centre beam freight cars. The loads on these cars appear to be exposed to the elements. Do they run without any protective covering?

The EOTD is its own car that must be placed separately. The loads on centerbeams are usually covered with a wrap, that is their protective covering. Some companies do ship their lumber without it though.

Anyway, I believe all these cars are feasible of being converted to Searchlight Simulations JR cars, though not sure yet.
As they are freeware, I suppose scripting could be used in other regular cars so these could chain Searchlight Simulations locomotives along a train with DPUs.
Am I right or not?

The reskin he showed is of the SP boxcar that came with this pack, so it should already have all the SS scripts.

Then that repaint was pretty fast
The JR cars have a very simple script that assures "conductivity" to the next car behind.

I have another question about those repaints of the JR cars.
Are there some other JR repaints available for download in RWA or elsewhere?

Just go into the library search and type "jointed'.

Digirails probably has the most reskins for the newer and older cars. There’s some in the library here like buzz mentioned but they’re all for the older cars (not the FRT ones). There’s also a bit on trainsimcommunity.

Here's 3 paint for new jointed rail DD boxcars... you can only use one at time
