Bit of really bad news. My computer crashed in the middle of saving edits to trackwork which killed my tracks.bin. the worst thing that could happen. I cant believe this the stupid game re-writes the whole tracks.bin file from top to bottom during a save to trackwork edits. only 1/3rd of it was actually saved wiping out you guessed it 2/3rds of laid track that was previously finished, rendering the whole route unuseable.

Im taking a break from this as now I have to reconnect 3 towns and redo Tacoma yards all over again for the 3rd time. at least 4 hours of trackwork now. luckily I had a backup of the old tracks bin from 4 months ago, which at least spares some of the track work.

route probably wont be released now until the fall if at all.

OH IAN! That's a small tragedy! Don't let it knock you down! Take a break for a few weeks, and then re-asses the situation! !!*ok*!!

Good to hear you're back on the horse.

Now back up, back up, back up.

I run one for my source and model folders every night.

Really important advice everyone!

I manage a small network at our office and I have ShadowProtect installed on every workstation. I backup the entire disk image of each system to a RAID 1 NAS daily. The unity runs in the background automatically with no noticeable performance degradation and is totally user configureable.
HDD failure, virus, corrupt drivers .... what ever, I don't sweat it anymore. I just go back to that last known stable state of the workstation, load the C: image to a freshly formatted drive and we're back in business in about 15 minutes. I'd never be without it again. **!!2cents!!**

Is the above information true?
I've been on Ian's Blogspot and all I can find is pictures, and a bunch of links to download files.
There are links to freeware assets and donationware assets, but no mention of what these are.

I can't find an actual text description of the payware and its contents.
