Go to your Steam Library, right-click on the TSC icon, select "properties", click on local files and select "verify file integrity". Give it a few minutes (watch progress bar) and it will either say "successful" or report how many files were bad and re-download them automatically. These instructions were off the top oof my head, so the phrasing may not be exact, but the procedure should be accurate.

Regarding the crash; I experienced a crash when selecting to start the game in DX12 mode to try out my new gfx card. So I restarted in standard 64-bit mode, then went to "settings", "tools", and cleared cache, performing a restart. Never experienced any further crashing while in standard 64-bit mode. Never tried DX12 mode again to troubleshoot, as time is limited and wanted to spend it riding the rails.

Hope that helps.

I can confirm that there are QDs for the route I just ran one from Livingston to Three Forks on a local, meeting Ai on the way.

There is an error in the "Dispatcher instructions" in scenario "09 The Diesel That Did It" - the dispatcher advises that there could be a delay at Bozeman East waiting for train NP602 to clear - scenario 09 does not go to Bozeman and the delay is a stop at Livingstone West - easily corrected but...

Yep, typo, we'll add it to a patch list.

BN Local approaching Logan from the West as a Milwaukee local heads West. One road heading to growth and prosperity as the other (sadly) heads the other way.
MILW GP9s are the RSC GP9 pack, the BN locos are the HIS GP9s (and they are not the same).

Looks nice.

How is the feeling? Does it feel there has been a nuclear war and that you are alone in the world. Or is the world a bit alive ?

A handful of serial complainers barking among themselves can't start a war (nor have much of any impact otherwise). :D

One person can start a war. Has happened a lot. Not peace, but war :-)

Alive world and no flickering would be my two biggest wishes for Railworks. Hey, is allowed to dream, right ?

Opinions are just opinions and not necessarily based on fact, only your interpretation of those facts . We all view things based on our own reality, wants and needs. What is acceptable for some is not for others. What we should be thankful for is the opportunity to make a choice.

This cycle of events is simply the "new norm." A new product is released, a couple cranks try their best to stir up a hornet's nest (which lasts about 24/48 hours), then we all move on. So let's now all move on.
