This will be great! I hope I can afford it!

some more urban sprawl outside of puyallup. Track in the background. There are 5 versions of this house I just have to render the rest of the maps. Im actually experimenting with these; as you can see the street and driveways are attached to the houses as 1, I am trying to connect the streets using a fixed netwrk blueprint(like an intersection) so far it shows up as an intersection but I cant connect them, I'll be tinkering with the wideness values to see if that helps.

**!!bow!!** I know to alot of people it might not seem all that special, but what you're doing there is leaps and bounds beyond what's currently coming out of RSC. As it stands it looks amazing, but I can imagine there'd be room for alot of embelishment without performance loss. I'm getting really excited about this route now, and for once it's not based on hype and tricky marketing, it's based on potential.

Is that a Hummer!?!?!?!

Its a hummer. My major focus is actually keeping the draw calls down while creating an immersive experience. So I will be revisiting the balmer yard area where this is significant slow down and relay scenery and redo some assets so there is less texture calling which may be to blame for minor performance issues. Actually 3/4 of the route has great performance for a mid range system like mine on high settings.

Just tuning in.... this might be the best thing I've seen yet. Incredible textures. Overall looks very sharp. What's the action like?

ACTION PACKED! my last step in the overhaul is actually putting in more animated scenery and interactive objects. but thats a ways a away still.

I plan to clean up the action of the hyster stacker loading the containers onto flat cars. I might create my own gantry crane, although RSCs is still top notch in my opinion. I want to create an animated autorack loader, but the autoracks dont have an animated component to them so it may be worthless. Definetly making a bunch of animated packaging warehouses for boxcars, n refrig cars. and definetly animating the loading section for the seattle grain terminal.

I finally made the connection to auburn from the tacoma side last night. I still need to connect kent to auburn and the full trackwork will be done. I think its like 10 miles or something. The latest pic shows a piece of the auburn yard thats done.

Lookin like at least 2-3 months worth of work left at the pace ive been going.

sd70ace leading dash9CW, and 2 sd60s tanker train thru auburn yard just south of AUburn, WA.

I know you guys are enjoying your marias pass route which is good, you need something to keep you guys busy anyway. I decided I am going to post some frequent action screenshots (and maybe a video at the end) of the seattle route as I near completion. Theres still about a solid months worth of work to do on the route and then a weeks work to do on the loco pack. IM gearing up for an early june release or mid june. I'll know by mid may where I stand. And at this point Im on the fence about using steam because of the sheer volume of this route. I might just host it on my website using outlook to host the file in 1 big chunk versus seperate parts. Lots to think about in the next month for me:)
