Are you aware if those cars mentioned in the three posts above, are converted with the SS scripting (and working correctly)?

In the RWA file library there are 18 different car repaints with the word Jointed.

His skins use the SS SP 50' boxcar from this pack by default, so theres nothing he needed to convert over.

Reskins are possible, as I know someone who's doing additional skins of the centerbeam. Maybe something else is off.

I believe I understand now. The SS installation folders are really complex (or rather messy). Some cars are in the SS root, some are part of a subfolder (FRT).
I can see in the root the folder JR23K_Tank UTLX which is duplicated inside the FRT subfolder (as UTLX)?

Have you tried to use the scripting in a regular car (not a repaint of the JR) and see if it can work in a JR train?

The ones in the FRT folder are the newer cars while the others outside of that folder are the older stand-alone releases. All searchlight freight cars have the consist messaging script by default so you don't need to add it to them.

Searchlight has a tutorial on their youtube page for making equipment compatible with their consist messaging script. If you can find the download for their defect detector it include the scripts needed.

Great information. Thank you.
I will take a look to all this subject.
