Stealth B40-8

Unread postby FHRob » Tue Mar 15, 2016 3:42 pm

I'm attempting to use one of Ian's B40-8 models on Sherman Hill.

I substituted them into a consist using RW Tools. I only get couplers, no engine. However, the cabview and sound are both present. !*don-know!*

I then tried to edit the scenario in TS. I was able to put the engines on the tracks. Same problem as before when I tried running the scenario. **!!bang!!**

The engines show-up fine in a Horseshoe Curve free roam scenario.

Help wanted here. !*hp*!

Thanks,

Rob :D

Is the geopcdx in the engine folder?

Yes, I checked each engine folder, and the required geopcdx file is there. In fact, I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, and still nothing except couplers.

Are the required assets checked off? And is the bin looking to the right folders?

I'm not sure what happened. I just reinstalled the original files, plus update file Number 1. Now the engine can be seen. !*don-know!*

I'll have to reinstall update file Number 2 and see what happens.

The b40-fix3 file didn't work. However, I then installed the light.rwp file, and the problem was solved, at least for the UP unit.

it was referencing a file that was missing. I since uploaded a massive fix so please install that over top. it fixes the wrong brake lever positions and paths, the speedo, and other stuff. for now it doesn address the engines turning off when you restart your scenario. that fix will come later when I figure out why it does that.
