Request to make Tutorial on making horns the Searchlight SIm way

Unread postby sabreman61 » Mon Aug 22, 2022 9:42 am

I have watched a few YouTube videos on making horns the SS way and they are terrible. The person moves way to fast and there is no speech. I made a huge horn pack the old way about 8 years ago and obviously the SS way is way better. I have a few horns I would love to remake the SS way especially my first gen K5HL. It is probably the BEST K5HL ever made for this game. I don't mean to sound egotistical, it is what it is. Check it out for yourself. https://youtu.be/18yIgv_-m7s I am requesting a tutorial on how to make horns the SS way. Please explain the steps because there are multiple .WAV files, not just hornstart, hornloop and hornend. The Tutorials on Youtube don't explain anything and the person moves way to fast and there is no audio. (Speech) I am requesting a tutorial from my fellow RWA members on how to create horns the SS way. Thanks you all!!

Well I have no idea really how they do it, but from what I heard they record horns from multiple distances. I'm assuming that means they actually recorded these sounds irl from multiple distances. I don't truly know though.

We mount the horns on my truck and record multiple distances, yes.
