You posted the same thing in three sub forums. Delete them all, except the one in Problems and Peculiaries.

Well the this forum is Sound Application and the description says Making, Fixing, and Applying Sounds however don't make 3 different topics on different forums, now you have a problem with these defect detectors. Well I can safely say unless you have Stevens pass you can use these sounds.... (unless you make a custom cab chatter sound). Because the original defect detectors were "added" to RCAP but it's not unfortunately.

Ok well there is a bunch of complex coding you would have to do to get it to work in another route that it is almost not worth it but it's possible.

How do I get the deafult Stevens pass defectors to work?

See the thing is they only work In scenarios apparently, but the sounds should be in the stevens pass files somewhere, but I'll have to mess with it later.

Hmm, I drove an intermodal out of Rocklin Station on Donner Pass, just over the Rocklin bridge, and a defect detector came on in the cab.
