Good afternoon,
Well it's starting to come back to me about replacing sound files. So I purchased Audio Shacks sound pack and watched his installation video but I cant find the folder with the Class ES44.proxyxml file in Railworks. I did a search and couldn't find the ES44.proxyxml on my computer.

I've been looking at other horn and bell instuctions and they say to copy file to this folder ( RailWorks\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\Audio\RailVehicles\Diesel\ES44\Cab ) I only have the SD40. **!!bang!!**
Thanks for the help, you guys have been very helpful........
Dave

I can't find the default es44 folder with the cab folder in it..
RailWorks\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\Audio\RailVehicles\Diesel\ES44\Cab....is this where the es44 should be ?

Correct. If you have any other ES44 DLC follow the same procedure (Marias Pass, Stevens Pass, and BNSF ES44DC have filepath Audio\RailVehicles\Diesel\ES44DC\Diesel\ES44\Cab though)

OK, so if you were to change sound files for the ES44AC, can you show me the path? because I'm pulling my hair out not seeing the files anywhere. Because in this path, RailWorks\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\Audio\RailVehicles\Diesel\ES44\Cabthe ES44 cab isn't in there. !!jabber!!
Thanks

It isn't necessary to backup the .ap file. It is useful for maintaining a backup of the original file; placing objects externally outside the .ap file but in the same folder path works, the files positioned outside the ap file will take prevalence over those inside.
