New Big Boy replacement sounds for whistle, bell and safety valves

Unread postby jalsina » Wed Dec 30, 2015 6:31 pm

In December 16, 2015, DTG released their latest upgrade for the Big Boy (to this date), improving the bell and whistle for their previous release in November 18th (with failed sounds).
But for this update, DTG changed several names for sound proxys. Due to this fact, my two latest uploads are not valid anymore for the Big Boy.

Therefore I have uploaded a replacement files named "Big Boy Bell and Whistle update 2", in the library since today, Dec 30, 2015:
http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/sounds-enhancements?view=document&id=2004:big-boy-bell-and-whistle-update-2&catid=25:sounds
It includes 3 different RWP install files:
1) The replacement horn by Brian Meyers (b737lvr)
2) The replacement bronze bell using sounds, published previously by John Gori (JohnTrainHead) in his "Mechanical Bell Pack".
3) A modified proxy that reduces the "volume" of the DTG safety valves sounds (as in its current state annoys to several players).
This way you will be able to choose if you want 1, 2 or 3 of the mod sounds.

The first you should do before installing the new rwp, is removing both of my files (jalsina) using the utilities.exe tool. Those are:
1) "Big Boy Bronze Bell replacement", dated Dec 22th, 2015:
http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/sounds-enhancements?view=document&id=1971:big-boy-bronze-bell-replacement&catid=25:sounds
2)"Big Boy Whistle Update", dated Nov 21th, 2015:
http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/d ... =25:sounds

I suggest the RWA administrators to proceed to delete the two replaced older files from the library, in order to avoid future confusion. !**conf**!
