Why No Engine Sounds Inside Cab?

The DTM DD40X has little or no engine sounds inside the cab. However, the sounds of switches clicking etc. can be clearly heard. !*hp*!

There is a cab occlusion file, but it refers to "EMD SD45" which doesn't exist.

Which file(s) determine engine sounds inside the cab?

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year to all. !!*ok*!!

In the proxyxml file, any sound marked "INSIDE" or "BOTH" is heard inside the cab.

Hi Chacal:

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.

I looked at the proxyxml file using RW tools. I changed a number of references from "outside" to "both."

However, I only found a single reference to "ENG Run 1" which is shown below:

</kLoud-cControlledLoop>
<kLoud-cControlledLoop d:id="31790">
<PlayState d:type="cDeltaString">BOTH</PlayState>
<Name d:type="cDeltaString">ENG Run 1</Name>
<Sound d:type="ref">30875</Sound>
<ModifierChain d:type="ref">31616</ModifierChain>
<ControllerName d:type="cDeltaString">RPM</ControllerName>
<LoopCondition d:type="cDeltaString">ValueInRange</LoopCondition>
<ActiveRangeStartValue d:type="sFloat32">318</ActiveRangeStartValue>
<ActiveRangeEndValue d:type="sFloat32">427</ActiveRangeEndValue>
<ValueIsChangingGateTime d:type="sFloat32">0</ValueIsChangingGateTime>
<InstanceGroup d:type="ref">0</InstanceGroup>

Should there be a reference to all eight run positions?

I attached the file if you need it.

Thanks,

Rob :D
