I just download Krellnut's "Real GP38-2 Sounds" on the library. The sounds are for the freeware Justin Cornell GP38-2. The sounds are very well put together. This is a must have for those who own the JCornell geep!

You can get them here on the library: http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/d ... =25:sounds

Just wanted to let everyone know this great sound mod is out there! !!*ok*!!

the only problem is that they are not GP38 Sounds. The sounds in that pack are from a Turbocharged engine. I mixed them with some SD40 sounds in the library and the result was so much better.

If yours are so much better where are they? Come on let's be polite.

I never posted them due to the fact that i needed permission to release it here.

And Buzz i was just simply stating a fact about Krellnuts sounds. Don't think of it as a mean statement but rather a suggestion for users!

Positive thoughts!

!*cheers*!

Well, anything new would be appreciated I'm sure. We've been using Walter's sound pack from the library for the last 4 years now, are there some more modern up to date sounds we can utilise, I recognise that these Geeps don't operate to the extent across all Railroads that they once did, but, Justin Cornell created such fabulous models many years ago for the community, it's one of the best freeware first generation diesel locomotive releases we've ever had, it would be nice to have something added to it.

Wally's sound is of a turbo charged 645 which I believe is the 16-645E3. What we need to be accurate is a recording of a 645E. That's the one with the roots blower and no turbo charger.

I'll get Bob to remove the sound pack, then there won't be any more issues with it.
