If you want to cut the horn sound form the video and make a Railworks horn out of it, you can have it in the game.
Look at some other horn files from the library to learn what structure you'll need for your horn to sound nice in the game.
It is not extremely difficult, there are good and free sound editors available, but you'll need to cut a precise start - loop - end section for your horn.
It should play short toots and long blasts using the same samples, so looping without clicks etc. is very important.

Exactly, plus you'll need good and clean video or audio recordings. That is usually the problem with Youtube, wind noise, cars, bird, operator breath, etc.
Mobile phones and small cameras are not very good at sound recording, they compress/limit loud sounds and noises. RR horns are usually too loud and severy compressed.
Bad source material leads to bad horns.
If you want to get good horn sounds, best take a audio recorder and a good mike with you to your favourite honking spot.
PS: the old DTM GP30 had a great horn. Hopefully, the whole pack which included DRGW will get a re-release soon now that DTM is working with Trains and Drivers for their distribution.
