RW tools 6.0.23 faults

Unread postby SAR704 » Tue Feb 03, 2015 5:46 am

For some reason, when I load RW tools 6.0.23, it's always asking me to enter my name for some reason. Then, it tells me that there is a newer version available, even though the download doesn't seem to contain an updated version. The file only seems a few bytes in size.

Is there a way to fix these annoyances?

Hi,

Assuming you have a User Name and Code, make sure that you are running RW_Tools as administrator (right click on RW_Tools.exe and select Properties/Compatability and tick the box 'Run as administrator', then it will always start correctly and your Name/code will be saved.

As for version, go to my site at www.rstools.info/downloads.html and select the RW_Tools6030.zip file to download, that is the latest one. Copy ALL of the contents into the RW_Tools folder.
