Hey everyone, quick question. I was wondering which road names new and old that "could have" operated on this route due to its supposed geographical location as stated in the manual. Any information would be great!

Best Regards,
Cat

Good question. The RW&A is thought to be somewhere along the south shore of Lake Superior, but the precise location is anybody's guess. Why don't you take the time to do some research and let us know what you come up with. Fear not, nobody can dispute your findings! !!*ok*!!

Here you go.
There is a link on the page, to switch between upper and lower Michigan. You can also scroll through the years.

Well here is what I found so far using the info from Mopar and some information from railroad maps. Granted, this all depends on whether RWA is located on the southwest shore or southeast shore of lake superior.

WIP list:

Great Northern Railway
BNSF
Union Pacific
Sooline
Chicago and Northwestern
Wisconsin Central
Escanaba and Lake Superior
Lake Superior and Lshpeming

Oh I like the thought of some C&NW on the route! Going to drop the GP9 in C&NW livery onto the route soon.

Duluth, South Shore, and Atlantic... Rick did the RS-1 paint, and I have a DSSA boxcar in the library. I'll add some other freight.

Minneapolis and St. Louis 'The Tootin' Looie' - boxcar in the library. They had RS-1s.
