If it's not already in the works, how about a saw mill supplied by the railroad?

Not presently in the works, but a sawmill is planned. The Lake Superior region has a thriving forest-products industry. Sawmills come in all shapes and sizes. I've built and installed sawmills and/or related assets on Donner Pass (2005), Feather River (2007), and Stevens Pass (2013). Some of those assets have made multiple appearances and will probably show up again on this project.

I thought I'd driven all of the remarkable Stevens Pass route, Rick, but I don't recall passing a sawmill (not surprising, since I don't recall a lot of things, except for old commercial jingles). Where is it?

I've had an even better idea. A logging railroad with a interchange with the RW&A. Then a person could use Dick's Shays etc.

Stevens Pass sawmills:
Next to the I-5 overpass at PA Junction (not server by the RR)
Sea-Sno mill at Snohomish, next to the trestle
Winton (wood chips)
Malaga (not served by the RR)
There's also a logging operation of some sort in Chumstick Canyon about which I know nothing but which I faithfully duplicated. !*salute*!

As I said, some elements of the above just might make an encore appearance on the good old RW&A!

Thanks, Rick. I'll go looking for those soon.
