Try shutting it off and starting it back up with the control knobs.

The joy I am having running this route easily makes up for the frustration I've been having trying to get the other recently released route to run. With the fun I'm having in Michigan, I may never return to Washington.

I've bought the route, how long does it take to get the download link?

Yeah, what we need now, is for someone to come up with some machine tools for the roundhouse.

There are little tidbits all over. I don't want to spoil the surprises by telling about them. *!greengrin!*

Outstanding Route, Very enjoyable to run. The RS1 is awesome along with all the new rolling stock. $15.00 what a bargain for such a fine piece of work. Thanks to all involved in bring this into the Game.

Having completed two delightful scenarios, I have already thought of doing exactly what you've suggested; if there aren;t any free-roams, Ill make one myself.

In my previous message, I forgot to mention that 1) there aren't any odious "career" scenarios, and therefore no medals, points, Mickey Mouse ears, etc.; 2) the installation RWP does not contain any "poisonous" files (Pontracks.bin, etc.) -- unlike other 3rd party routes made available lately; 3) the included rolling stock is fantastic (although I am thinking of making another wee donation to obtain the RWA Donation Rollingstock pack, if only to have a switcher available. Major pats on the back all 'round, fellows: haven't had this much enjoyment on the sim since VNHRR and Stevens Pass.

The route comes with several Free Roams, Tom.

...there aren't any odious "career" scenarios, and therefore no medals, points, Mickey Mouse ears, etc.

I don't think "odious" is a strong enough term! !*not-ok*!

...the installation RWP does not contain any "poisonous" files (Pontracks.bin, etc.)

Whatever that is. !*don-know!* It sounds like something that needs to be avoided. The "etc." stuff as well.

...included rolling stock is fantastic

Kudos to Michael! !*salute*!

I got it as soon as I got home tonight. I hate to make a "me too" post but it looks great! I've only done the first scenario but I'm looking forward to the rest. I can tell this is the kind of route I will love, similar to MCSA, Raquette Lake and the Cimmaron & Pacific (not to mention the NERW!).

Anyway, thanks to the whole team for all your hard work. !*salute*! !*cheers*!

Yes, sir! Yes, sir! Sanctus Bos (that;s Latin for "Holy Cow", folks. Look-ee here:

Let's start with the roundhouse's interior . . .
Image
. . . now look more carefully: see those open doors? and see that all the other doors are closed? . . . each set of doors opens as an engine approaches! And how about the interior itself?

Now, let's move over to the diesel shed . . .
Image
. . . where the doors also open, but whereas the roundhouse doors swing open, these lift up.

Unfortunately, they also come down a bit prematurely (I was using an engine to push another engine into the shed and when I stopped the pushing engine the guy on the door did his thing):
Image
Well, not everything can be perfect.

If I'm not mistaken, our team of a-door-able route creators first invented this motion for the tunnel curtains on the Stevens Pass route, where they also used it to animate several sets of swinging and sliding fence gates. Fabulous work, fellows! !*brav*! !*brav*! !*brav*!

Now here's your next assignment: turntable tracks that are actually part of the "active" track layout, so that trains can be programed to stop on them and run across them. If anyone can do this, it's Campbell, Friedland, Grout, & Stephan! (Sincere apologies if I've left anyone out.)

P.S.: just in case anyone thinks I'm faking these photos, here's another shot of the shed with its door on the way up:
