Back Story: (Please be Brief) This route is a fictional division of the Central Vermont Railroad along Lake Champlain in northwestern Vermont in the 1950s and 1960s. There is also a 19 mile shortline railroad known as the Western Vermont which interchanges with the CV at Waterton, VT. There are opportunities for passenger and freight traffic as well as specialty trains (excursions, ski trips, plow extras). Industries include a large granite quarry, a gravel pit, a creamery, farms, a fairgrounds, and many small industries.
