Back story (please be brief):
The area between Bremen (river Weser), Hamburg (river Elbe) and Cuxhaven (water mouth of Elbe) forms the Elbe-Weser-Triangle which is also colloqial known as "wet triangle". The Elbe-Weser-Triangle is a geographical region and equates historically and politacaly the former territory of Bremen-Verden and the administrative region of Stade.
Today the Elbe-Weser-Triangle goes to the borders of both Hanse-cities in Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony). The area is managed by the regional authority Stade. There are several railway connections, the most commonly known one is the mainline known as "Rollbahn" from Hamburg to Bremen via Rotenburg (Wümme), the Weser-Aller-railway from Rotenburg via Verden to Minden, the Niederelbebahn (lower Elbe railway) from Hamburg to Cuxhaven, the railway Bremerhaven-Cuxhaven, Bremerhaven-Buxtehude (-Hamburg), Bremerhaven-Bremen and Bremen-Verden-Hannover.
From the huge area of the Elbe-Weser-Triangle the author decided to build the northern part (Buxtehude-Cuxhaven, Cuxhaven-Bremerhaven and Bremerhaven-Buxtehude) only. This will be released in three parts. The first part is now available and has 83 kilometers (about 52 miles) of tracks from Buxtehude via Stade to Cuxhaven. On this part of the route there are 15 stations. The following releases will extend the route to a length of more than 200 kilometers (about 125 miles) of mainline and an additional 40 kilometers (about 25 miles) of branch line.
