Would you be happy with one using the DTM SD45 or what would you like?

I did these back in 2015. I don't remember why I didn't upload them. Looks like the trucks need to be black.

I don't know if it's my monitor settings or my 61yr old eyes but they look blue instead of black. Aside from that they look look fine.

Well, my 63 year old eye agree! I believe I was trying to correct that. I didn't post the correct image. This one is better (with the original on the right).

The MRL unit is an SD45-2. Not sure if they are the same as the SD45. There should be some dark trucks on one that I have. I'll see what I can find.

OK, I finally remembered where this came from. Back in 2013 Marleyman put out an SD45 "Baker's Dozen" re-skin pack.

http://www.railworks.marleyman.co.uk/st ... cts_id=111

I have sent a message asking if I can modify it and upload it here, as requested in his re-skin documents.

After a quick texture swap. This also has some dust added but I'm not sure I like it.

I do not know the "in's and out's" of these reskins, but do you think that this could be applied to the SP version of the unit? Although not a "spot on" model, I believe that the SP version is a closer version, with the plow, lower horn and gyra-light. I would love to see this, heavily weathered and with both the large and small "Rio Grande" herald. Just a thought?

Best Regards,

Galen

Galen, it should be fairly easy to do, if I can remember how! I'll finish up the UP version first though.

I updated several textures. Every picture I had showed lots of dust under the dynamic brake grille.
And I just noticed the plow is orange in all my reference photos. I'll change that.
