Western Pacific Bicentennial GP40's

I think that these would be an outstanding edition the the Feather River Route..... I guess that they have already been done in Trainz....but with the wonderful GP40's offered, I think that they would be great....especcially with a little light weathering!

Hey Buzz,

Any time for these now? :) Sorry to bump an old thread, but I was just curious. Also, what ever happened to the Rock GP38-2? I was just looking through all the projects, and that seemed to disappear? The Non-Dynamic version would be a great unit for a GTW paint!

Lots and lots of bits and pieces but it's starting to come together.

I had no idea what what I was getting myself into when I raised my hand on this one but have to admit it's been one of the most intriguing ones I have ever done. I took certain liberties with the prototype and put the Western Pacific and the Bi-centennial sign on the body but it's looking pretty nice. Pats himself on the back. !*roll-laugh*! In any event a few details to go..................

You deserve all accolades, even self administered versions, for putting up with us novice repainters....

Great job on this unit so far.

Liberties.... On a bicentennial unit....what a pun!

When you've recovered and your really feeling extra creative, go try the ICG version, my personal favorite. This unfortunate unit met an early demise after hitting an oil tanker on one of it's first runs. They did a second unit after that. I especially like the eagle nose!
