ALP45DP EL Heritage Unit

Unread postby TheR62Fan » Thu Jan 16, 2020 10:09 am

Well, about 5 minutes ago I found out that NJT 4519 has now become a heritage unit, in an EL paint scheme!

Perhaps someone here would like to do it?

Clear Tracks on FB mentioned they're working on a NJT HU pack that'll be out at some point soon.

I talk with him on a regular basis. He has confirmed NJT heritage units are in the works. Just give him some space for his final projects before retirement. :D

He did make it public that he was stepping out of the community after a few of his projects are done purely because life comes first. No drama involved thankfully. I do look forward to his final releases. !!det!!

People get burned out. What's the big deal? I fail to see any drama in it? Easy words for you to say with no context on the person's life or what they're going through right now.

But yes, this "whiny child" will be releasing it on Clear Tracks before he steps out of the community so he can set his priorities straight.

What do you expect from a moderator who will never feel any repercussion from any drama he stirs up? He does this all the time then proceeds to delete any posts attempting to defend themselves or call him out. That's just what happens when you play god.

When you are in your 20s you think you know everything, when in your 30s you’re sure you do, in your 40s you are certain you know more than your boss,in your 50s you start to doubt. In your 60s you realise that you don’t need to know everything and in your 70s you realise what a dern fool you were in your 20s thinking you knew everything. The other thing you learn as you get older is that throwing insults about smears you in the mud as much as the guy you are aiming at.

Truthfully, you actually contribute directly to a lot of it.

As I’m sure this is directed to me I’m going to reply even though the discussion is basically moot at this point. I, for certain, know nothing - hence why I’m dropping out of creating content. TS has become a time-constraining burden recently and I would rather focus all of that time and energy on other aspects of my life.

What annoys me is the fact that I was thrown into the pile of drama-infested children TS has been notorious for in recent months. Perhaps I’m being too sensitive, but there’s absolutely no substance in that assumption and I personally feel the need to point that out.

Doesn’t seem too friendly sometimes.

It wasn’t directed towards you.
This is a hobby not a job, if it is a burden you do right to step back, as should we all. The rat race is some other place that a hobby is supposed to relieve.
Good luck in whatever you do.

Just in case the obvious escapes you most of the posts other than John's just goes to prove my point. They are all drama with little or no purpose. No one had to explain anything. I just found it odd that anyone was talking about retirement from a forum or from any creative work. These are all one at a time deals and you would be surprised to find out that most people that have left the hobby are not missed or if they are not commented on. That's what grown ups do.

That's pretty incredulous to say considering the level of quality of work that CT has contributed to the community. I, for one, will miss seeing his work.

Buzz, considering you were a fan of my work and sent me countless emails asking for support and what happened to some of my downloads, those are very big words to say aren’t they? But you believe what you say, I have nothing to prove to you or anyone else. Sorry that it’s too difficult of a concept to grasp, even though I’ve explained over and over that it’s no longer fun and I’d rather focus my time on other things. How awful, wouldn’t you agree?

This exact attitude, along with other individuals who shall remain nameless, really takes the fun out of a “forum” and “creative work”. I’m still failing to see the obvious (if that’s what you’re calling it)? When Jerry at VRC left to focus on real life you weren’t this aggressive, why are you now?

No worries, sorry if I came off wrong in my original post. Thank you for the kind words.
