I saw a picture of this old girl on one of my railroad groups on FB and I just couldn't let this go by. Still a lot to do but she's coming along nicely. Now all we need is a hunk of this historic route to run it on.

And since a few of those GM&O F3's made into ICG paint... well... it wouldn't be a complete set without them.

Beautiful paint scheme. With a little "imagineering" there are several routes that could pass for the GM&O.

Buzz, you got me thinking, which is a thing a man should not do, as the fictional Colonel Stovall once noted. Specifically, I'm wondering whether it's possible to apply your same approach to the HTC F-7s.

I'm sorry. I'm not too sharp on acronyms. What's HTC?

Bit by autocorrect again: that should have read HSC. Sorry.

Good, I feel less dense now. The HSC curve is more or less the old Kuju model so I'm not sure what would need to be done to make it work. I'm pretty sure those ugly antennas would need to stay on there since I think I remember that they are not a child object. What are you thinking? You trying for a F3 for HSC or do you have something else in mind?

HSC was exactly what I had in mind. Pennsy was fortunate that the diesel builders were unable to meet the demands of a crash desalination program because their capacity was maxed out. By the same token, historians and fans were fortunate in that they got to witness an extended Transition Era show that featured a bewildering collection of steam and diesel power operating side by side. If it's possible to do Pennsy F-3s that just adds to the spectacle.
