Some Repaints for My Personal Route

I did some repaints of the Six Coupled Switcher from the B&LE route with my new Neuville Williamsburg RR. Co. livery. I wanted this loco to be my yard switcher as it performs fairly well in that application. The only thing I dislike about this loco is the whistle, although a great whistle, it just doesn't seem to match the switcher. Also, the Britkits USRA 2-8-2 with the older livery. In my opinion...

I think you should try to avoid using the tenders from britkits. His loco models are actually half decent with a good reskin and do have a reasonable amount of 3d detailing. His tenders on the other hand I find to be not so good. If you must use a vanderbilt style tender I would recommend the SP&S tender although it's a fuel oil tender, not a coal tender. Or even give the B&LE Santa Fe tender a try and see how it looks coupled to a britkit steam model. Aside from that keep up the good work, your reskins look good.

Thanks John for the input and kudos. I just like the look of the Vanderbilt coal tender, compact. The railroad is only around 45 miles of actual track, so a large tender would not be in the interest of the railroad. I'll take a look at the B&LE tender and see how that goes. Thanks again.
