Well, this maybe in the wrong forum.

Does anyone know if any manufacture made a model of the SD40-2 with the short fuel tank like the MILW units had? (MILW repaint I'm thinking of doing.) The model would also need the rotary beacon.

Kman, unfortunately the only models of the SD40-2 that we have are all based off of the old Kuju unit. That means 4,000 gallon fuel tanks.

If you can overlook that, items such as beacons can be added as 'child objects' to the model.

I believe the SD40-2 included in Donner Pass has a beacon light. The headlights might be the only drawback for that model, however.
